REQUIREMENTS FOR THE MAINTENANCE COMPANY
A maintenance company in the sense of this manual, which meets all requirements, must fulfil the
following points:
•
A maintenance company has to have sufficient qualified personnel for maintenance work
and troubleshooting.
•
Maintenance personnel must have appropriate training and experience in the field used.
•
Regular training and further education of these personnel must be ensured.
•
The maintenance company must provide the operator with a maintenance plan adapted to
the system in order to ensure the greatest possible availability and safety of the system.
•
The maintenance company must take into account the system-specific maintenance work
in its maintenance plan and ensure that this work is carried out.
•
The company and its maintenance personnel must have sufficient technical equipment to
carry out all necessary activities safely.
•
The maintenance company must always have all necessary original spare parts quickly
available.
•
The maintenance company must inform the operator about the condition of the
installation and about any repair work.
•
The maintenance company must ensure, in cooperation with the operator, that the system
is observed in order to detect changes in the operating behaviour and to initiate any
necessary maintenance or repair work.
•
The maintenance company must have appropriate and sufficient insurance cover.
•
The maintenance company must record any intervention that has occurred due to a fault.
