REMOVAL

1.

See Fig. 1

. Disconnect license plate light

wiring.

2.

See Fig. 1

. Depress release tabs on door

hinges and remove hinges from door.

3.

See Fig. 2

. Remove license plate bracket.

4.

See Fig. 3

. Remove door latch assembly.

5. Use an electrical pin removal tool to release

pin from socket.

6. Remove license plate light.

7. Remove hinge plate from door.

REPLACEMENT

1. Install new weather seal around new door.

2. Install hinge plate to new door.

3. Install license plate light.

4. Install trunk door latch assembly (see R&R

Trunk Door Latch Assembly).

5. Install license plate bracket to new door.

6. Install new door to hinges. Door will clip into

hinge assembly.

7. Connect license plate light. Test light.

8. Adjust door for proper fitment by closing door

with a strip of paper between door and body in

different locations. Door seals properly if paper

has tension when removed

9. If necessary, adjust door by loosening two Phil-

lips screws located on bottom side of hinges.

Tighten screws when adjustment is complete.
