TCP/IP Configuration
TCP/IP Configuration
To establish network communication, you will need to configure the TCP/IP settings of your
computer’s Network Interface card and each
pro8
unit.
pro8 TCP/IP Settings
The default settings, as shipped from the factory, are:
LAN 1
IP address =
192.168.123.73
LAN 2
IP address =
192.168.123.74
LAN 1 & 2
Subnet Mask =
255.255.255.0

Connection via a Network Switch or Hub
In a networked installation, it is likely that you will be connecting multiple devices and/or computers.
Each device on the network requires a unique IP address which may be assigned either statically
(Static IP) or dynamically (via DHCP). Please consult your network administrator for details.
In Version 1.0, the
pro8
supports Static IP addresses but not DHCP.
Therefore, you will need to manually configure the TCP/IP settings on each unit. To do this,
connect your computer directly, open a web browser session and use the
menu to adjust the IP Address of
LAN 1
and/or
LAN 2
