Network Devices Tab
The front panel of Power Core contains three Ethernet RJ-45 ports, labeled
1, 2
and
3.
On this status screen,
these three ports are shown as three Devices:
·
dwc0
corresponds to front-panel port
1
and is used for system administration and control.
·
ra1
corresponds to front-panel port
2
and is the first of two RAVENNA AoIP ports.
·
ra0
corresponds to front-panel port
3
and is the second RAVENNA AoIP port.
Each Device section displays the port’s Host Name (defined with On Air Designer), its MAC address and network
IP address and netmask, and gateway (if used). The Link State box shows port connection / activity status.
In User Mode, all fields displayed are non-editable. Entering Administrator Mode permits changing the IP Address
and Network Mask value for each of the three ports, and the Public Name (a friendly name displayed during
network searches) of each RAVENNA port.
If any settings are changed, you must click the
APPLY
button at the bottom of the page to save them.
IP Address changes are made immediately after clicking APPLY. If you have changed the IP Address of
dwc0, you must enter the device’s new IP Address in your browser to continue system administration.
The control box labelled “LACP ra0/ra1” is reserved for future use. This feature is not implemented at the time
of this writing.
