13. Control Surface Configuration

13.1

Frame Selection

1.

From the main menus, select 

Frames

 -> 

change frame

 to open the 'Frame Selection' window:

Frame -> Change Frame

From here you  can  define  the  maximum  specification  of  each  system  component: 

System Core

, 

Surface

,

Panels

 or 

Screen

.

Select an option under 

Surface

 to  define  the maximum control surface size.

The numbers in brackets indicate the number of Fader M Central  Central Modules running  in
monitor  mode.  For  example,  a 

ruby  60  Fader  (15+1+6) 

will support up to 15 Fader Modules, 1 Central  Module

and 6 Central Modules (monitor mode).

3.

Click  on 

OK

 to load the new hardware configuration.

This process may take a few seconds.  During this time the status is shown in the "progress" bar  (below
