the warranty.

guidance for a particular tool’s use and while all attention is given to the accuracy of the data no project should be 

attempted without referring first to the manufacturer’s technical documentation (workshop or instruction manual) or the 

use of a recognised authority such as Autodata.

Changing the Oil

1. 

Note:

 It is recommended to change the hydraulic oil once per year. 

2.  Lay the jack on its side and drain the fluid into a suitable container. 
3.  Dispose of used oil following local authority guidelines.
4.  Refill until oil level is 4mm above the inner cylinder as seen from the oil filler hole.
5.  Refer to “

First Use

” section above and follow the instructions to purge the 

hydraulic system to eliminate any trapped air in the system.

6.  Check oil level again and top up if necessary.

Keep the jack clean and dirt-free. Regularly check the hydraulic ram and 

mechanism for signs of dirt and/or corrosion. Clean as necessary and ensure that 

no abrasive materials are used near the hydraulic ram.
