Class I and II, Divisions 1 and 2 cast aluminum enclosure that provides overcurrent and short circuit protection of service

entrance, feeder or branch circuits, lighting, heating, appliance and motor circuits. This explosion proof manual transfer

switch features an EHD frame, a 3-Pole configuration and allows operators to manually switch between two power sources,

perform power isolation and switch loads in flammable work sites. The changeover switch operates on a maximum of 600V

AC and features one cast 3" conduit hub on the top and one cast 0.5" conduit hub on the bottom.

Installation

The Larson Electronics EPNFDS-MTS-200A-3P explosion proof 200 amp manual

transfer switch is designed for surface mounting applications. Mounting tabs are

provided that attach to the rear of the enclosure via screws, thus allowing the

enclosure to be mounted to any flat, sturdy surface that is capable of supporting

the load of the enclosure. Choose mounting location, and secure the enclosure

to the surface via heavy duty screws, or nuts and bolts. Mounting hardware is not

provided, but is available from Larson Electronics if needed.

Wiring

 and Operation

We strongly encourage only a licensed electrician install this product!

Warning: Check product label for correct input voltage!

Secure each pair of wires according to the diagram. Utilize a junction box or similar

device and take precautionary steps for weatherproofing all connections if installed

in a location where water may come in contact with the unit. Conduit hubs are

available at the top and bottom of the enclosure for bringing in wiring. Ensure the

unit is properly grounded and that wiring is done according to all local and national

electrical/building codes. Take any measures necessary and as required to retain

explosion proof capabilities and ratings within the hazardous area as outlined by

applicable code.

Ensure cover is secured with all bolts and flamepath between lid and enclosure has not been

compromised before energizing. This three-way changeover switch has three positions: On/Off/On. The external on/off

lever can be locked into the "off" position with room for up to three padlocks for superior security. The internal circuit

breaker handle mechanism is a sliding plate type mounted to the cover. The circuit breaker is trip free of the external

handle mechanism. This unit can be used to switch between two sources of power, including between line voltage and a

generator.
