17.2.1 Using (Continuous) Daily Auto-Store With Event History
When using the Daily Auto Store feature of the Continuous Run Mode,
longer events can affect the auto-store period in the following ways:
When using 5-, 2-, or 1-minute Daily Auto-Store settings, the 831C
strictly observes the Time and Auto-Store period you select to fulfill the
event logging function.
For example, when a sound event persists across an Auto-Store
boundary, the 831C will store and begin a new data file, which will
contain the remainder of the event data.
However, when a sound event persists across the Auto Store boundary
when using longer Daily Auto-Store periods (10 min+), the 831C waits
up to 1 minute to allow an in-progress event to end before storing the
file.
17.3 Viewing Event History Data on the Event History Tab
From the Live Tab, press the top-right softkey (

tab displays.
After the first time interval has passed, data displays on
the Event History tab in single values.
The Events tab
can display multiple data pages just like the Live or
Overall screens, depending on the firmware options enabled and the
setup used. Use the

pages on the Event History Tab. For more information, see
