LOCATION OF CONTROLS

OPERATION

1.

Input Selector Switch:

Allows you to select either the radio input or CD input.

2.

Illumination Selector Switch:

Allows you to select either amber color or

     green color illumination
3. Preamp Fader Control: Rotate clockwise or counter-clockwise to adjust the
volume between the front and rear outputs in 4 output systems.
4.

Subwoofer Crossover Control:

Allows you to select your desired crossover cut

off frequency in the 30Hz 250Hz range.
5.

Subwoofer Volume Control:

Rotate clockwise or counter-clockwise to increase

     or decrease the output level.
6.

Master Volume Control:

Rotate clockwise or counter-clockwise to increase or

decrease the output level. We recommend that you adjust the volume of your
source unit (radio/cassette, radio/CD player, etc.) at one half to three quarters
up and leave it. We further recommend that you use the

VBE420P

 volume

control as the master (main) volume control because its performance is more
linear than that of source units.

Note:

If engine noise is audible, try raising the volume of the source unit and

also check for proper ground connection.

7.

Equalizer Level Controls:

Rotate clockwise or counter-clockwise to boost/cut,

up to 18 dB, the level of each of the four ( Sub, Low, Mid, Hi) frequency bands.
