Transmitting Special Document (BOOK TX)
When the documents you want to transmit can not use the ADF, for example: a magazine. Then the
transmission must be performed by Book Transmission.
It is possible to use with combination each function of the Broadcast, Timer Transmission (expect
Timer Polling Reception), Mailbox Transmission, Polling and Relay Broadcast instruction.

Press the Book TX key.

Input the remote destination number, or select the FUNCTION.
For example: One Touch key 01.

Here we use the Keypad to input the destination fax number.

Press the "Yes" key.

The display prompts you with a message. It allows you to select original document size or
start to scan the original documents right now

If you want to change the original document size press
the “No/Clear” key.

Press the “Left” or “Right Arrow” keys to select the
desired paper size.

Then press the "Yes" key to accept the selection, and
the display will show the selected paper size.

Place the book on the Exposure Glass.

Press the "Yes" key start to scan the first page of the book.

After scanning the first page is complete:
•
If you have other pages to be scanning change the book page and press the "Yes" key.
•
If you want to change the original document size press the "No" key.
•
Do this procedure until all pages you want to transmit are scanned.

After you scanned all the pages, press the "Start" key to transmit these pages.

When the transmission is complete, the message “*TX COMPLETE*”is displayed briefly.
