Outer Wing Frames
1. Attach outer wing frames to inner wing frame using
1-1/4 x 7 bolt, 1-1/4 washers and 1-1/4 lock nut,
9650-38’-42’
See Figure 3-6 or 9650-46’-50’ See
Figure 3-7 .
NOTE
T he direction of bolts as shown See Figure 3-6 and
See Figure 3-7 . Use flat washers on front hinge bolt,
but not the middle or rear hinge bolts.
2. Support the outer ends of the outer wing frames with
stands approximately 36” tall.
3. Remove any shank assemblies or extensions that
have been turned around or mounted inside the frame
for shipping, and reposition.
See Figure 2-2 through
2-5 for shank placement.
4. Install the tire/wheel assemblies on the inner wing lift
assembly with 9/16 lug nuts.
NOTE
All tire/wheel assemblies are mounted with the valve
stem facing outward
.
5. The wing fold links (p/n 174447) must be installed
parallel and as close to the wing frame hinge
weldement as possible without gouging into the
square bars welded on the hinge
(See “Hydraulic
Installation” on page 3-14.) . Washers need to be
either added or removed as needed to obtain the
close and parallel assembly.
6. The 1-1/4-7 x 7 hex head cap screw (p/n 100545)
must be installed loose enough so that the screw can
be turned by hand. This screw must not be
over-tightened so as to cause the hinge assembly to
bind.

Wing Gauge Wheel Installation
1. Attach the gauge wheel assembly to outer wing
assembly with clamp plate, 3/4 x 5 bolts and 3/4 lock
nuts, 9650-38’-42’
