Level Wing Deck
The wing section will need adjusting if its top is not level
with top of center deck when the wing is unfolded.
1.
With tractor hydraulics, lower the wing down. Refer to
on page 37 for instructions on how to
lower the wing.
2. Pull cutter straight forward six to ten feet to allow the
outer wing wheel to properly align its self.
3. Check wing top to see if it is level with top of center
deck. If outer edge of wing top is higher or lower than
the center deck, then level the wing as follows:
a.
If outer wing edge is higher
than the center
deck, loosen jam nut (#1) and turn turnbuckle (#2)
clockwise to lower outer wing edge until wing is
level. Tighten jam nut (#1) to the correct torque
when level.
b.
If outer wing edge is lower
than the center deck,
loosen jam nut (#1) and rotate turnbuckle (#2)
counterclockwise to raise outer wing edge until
wing is level. Tighten jam nut (#1) to the correct
torque when level.
