1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read this operating manual carefully event if you’re already familiar with the functioning of this appliance.
Keep the manual in a safe space for all future references.
WARNING!
• Do NOT operate the appliance if it is visibly damaged.
• Do NOT obstruct the fridge’s gaps with pins, wires, and such.
• Do NOT expose the appliance to humidity or atmospheric agents (rain, sun, etc.).
• Do NOT place the appliance near naked flames or other sources of heat (heaters, direct sunlight, gas
oven, etc.).
• Do NOT store any product that contains explosive substances into the appliance, cans with a flammable
propellant, etc.
• Please, always use ONLY ONE source of energy at the time, either DC or AC. Don’t EVER connect the
appliance to two different energy supplies simultaneously.
• Aways make sure that the supply cord is well dry, untangled and undamaged. Do NOT place multiple
portable socket-outlets or portable power supplies in the back of the appliance.
• Always make sure that the volage specification on the classification plate matches with the energy
supply. The appliance is to be used with the power supply unit provided with it.
• Do NOT use any other electrical appliance inside the food storage compartment of the product.
• Once the appliance has been unpacked, and BEFORE turning it on, place it for more than 6 hours on a
level surface.
• Always make sure that the appliance is placed horizontally when functioning. The tilt angle must be less
than 5° for long time use, and less than 45° for a short time use.
• Always make sure that the ventilation openings near the compressor are free of any obstacle.
• Keep the appliance stable on the ground or in the vehicle. Do NOT drain it upside down.
CAUTION!
• All repairs must only be carried out by qualified personnel. An incorrect repair may cause dangerous
hazards or damages to people and/or things. Both the light bulb (if present) and the supply cord must
ONLY be replaced by the manufacturer with identical components.
• Installing the appliance on the DC power of a boat must only be done by a qualified electrician.
• Do NOT let children play with the appliance. All cleaning and user maintenance operations must never be
carried out by children without supervision.
• The appliance can be used by children aged 8 or above and by persons with reduced physical, mental
or sensory capabilities or lack of knowledge only if they are supervised by an adult or if they have been
given instructions on how to use the product safely and in full comprehension of the hazards that may
come from its use.
