Locate the slot on the Oximeter Adapter box intended for the SpO
2
probe. You should see a white post
that simulates a patient finger inside the slot.

Slide the cable attached to the SpO
2
probe through the slot on the side of the Oximeter Adapter box.
d.
Open the probe slightly and push the probe firmly into the slot onto the white “finger,” then release.

If everything has been connected correctly, a reading should appear on the fetal/maternal monitor after a few
moments.
