The grinder does not require special maintenance, but the following precautions should be
taken:
a- Do not leave the grinder running unsupervised; the engine overheating may reduce its
operating lifespan and/or generate irreparable damage.
b- Only use original spare parts; the use of parts supplied by other manufacturers may
permanently damage the machine.
c- If you do not use the grinder for long periods of time, we recommend applying a thin
layer of oil over the complete surface, even on the aluminium tray.
MAINTENANCE
1.- Before cleaning, make sure that the appliance is not connected.
2.- Remove the aluminium tray and the elements inside the collector tube.
3.- Do not use aggressive cleaning products or metallic sponges that may scratch the bright
surfaces when cleaning. Make sure to dry all of the elements well before reassembling it.
4.- Remember that the motor unit can not be submerged in water. Clean it with a moist rag,
making sure to dry it after cleaning.
5.- If the grinder will not be used for a long time, store it in a dry, well ventilated place away
from humidity.
NOTE: Be aware of all elements that come in contact with the meat, since they may
enerate bacteria, bad odours and health problems. Do not place water within the
collector tube while the machine is connected. Remove all of the elements for
cleaning.
CLEANING
WARNING:
Be very careful when handling the cutting blade.
It is recommended to use protective gloves to prevent cuts when handling this part.
5.- This machine is equipped with a safety to protect the motor against overheating. In the
event of excessive power of the motor, the safety will activate and the machine will
automatically shut down. If this happens, turn the switch to the OFF position and unplug the
device for 30 minutes.
Next, press the RESET button on the base of the grinder and turn on the machine on for
use.
6.- Once you have finished grinding the meat, turn the machine off by turning the switch to the
OFF position and unplug it.
