OPERATION
1.- Remove the packaging before using the appliance. Do not throw away the packaging until
having checked to see that the appliance works properly.
2.- Make sure to place the fryer over a flat, hard surface, avoiding extremely hot areas or other
dangerous elements. Verify that the connection cable and electric plug are in good
condition.
3.- Make sure that you have a space greater than 30 cm on both sides of the appliance,
especially in the front (user area), which should be spacious in order to avoid accidents and
injuries.
4.- Before starting it up for the first time, take out the basket and oil container to cleaning,
making sure to remove any water remaining before adding the oil. To take out the oil
container, you must remove the heating unit.
5.- Once having properly inserted the heating unit and oil container, fill it with oil up to
mid-range between the "MIN" and "MAX" levels (approx. 3.5 L). Do not surpass the "MAX"
level; doing so may provoke serious burns when the oil boils.
6.- If the heating unit is not properly placed, the safety switch can not be pressed, and the
appliance will not operate.
7.- Connect the plug to the mains and a green light will turn on the heating unit. This will remain
on while the appliance is connected to the mains.
