Vibrant, Uniform & Stable Colors
The LaCie 526 Monitor’s wide-gamut H-IPS A-TW POL panel
covers an outstanding 98.5% of ISO Coated and 95% of
Adobe RGB gamuts, a larger range of vibrant colors previously
unattainable by LCD monitors. This offers an even closer match
between captured, displayed and printed colors. Each panel is
individually corrected at the factory to ensure uniform brightness
and chromaticity across the screen. The embedded ColorKeeper
sensor analyzes in real time the brightness and chromaticity of
its backlight and continuously adjusts the backlight and panel
behavior for stable brightness and color throughout time.
Integrated Calibration Solution
The LaCie 526 comes with LaCie blue eye pro, a complete yet
easy-to-use calibration software that offers professional grade
monitor calibration and ICC profiling. Specially developed
to take advantage of the LaCie 526’s wide gamut and 12-bit
gamma correction look-up tables, blue eye pro is fast, precise,
and minimizes user involvement. It features advanced color
management functions such as Test and Report (which verifies
the monitor’s calibration accuracy), FineTune (which allows
manual calibration adjustments), and Ambient Light Analysis,
to assess environmental light quality. The LaCie blue eye
colorimeter is available bundled or separately.
Smooth Color Gradients
With 16-bit calculation precision, and thanks to an embedded
integrated circuit containing 12-bit color correction tables,
the gamma correction process of the LaCie 526 Monitor
calculates color transitions in 16 times more steps than on
regular 8-bit monitors. This offers smoother renditions of
gradients, and prevents banding. These tables also enable true
hardware calibration of the display when they are accessed
and programmed by the LaCie blue eye pro software to adjust
the monitor’s behavior to user-requested settings of white point,
gamma, and brightness.
Wide Working Space
With its large 25.5" diagonal, wide 16:10 format, and high
1920x1200 resolution, the LaCie 526 Monitor enhances
productivity by reducing the need for scrolling through
documents and switching windows, and allows full 1:1 scale
display of 2 letter-size pages with remaining additional space
for palettes and toolbars. To reduce ambient light glare and
ensure document colors are accurately seen by the user,
every LaCie 526 is delivered with the LaCie easyHood, lined
with black anti-reflective velvet. Its ergonomic stand enables
comprehensive height, swivel, tilt, and pivot adjustments for
optimal user comfort.
