Chapter 2

The recommended EMG cable for use with the Luna is the UD 597 A6 (=

guarded EMG cable for three surface electrodes with press studs, 60 cm).

Prepare the flowmeter

The flowmeter can be used to measure the voided volume and the flow during
urodynamic investigations. The flowmeter is supplied with wireless Bluetooth

technology so that cabling is not required.

Flowmeter

The flowsensor needs four batteries (AA alkaline 1.5 Volt or NiMH 1,2 Volt) in
the battery compartment. Under normal circumstances the flowsensor is

expected to run for more than one month on a single set of batteries. The
flowsensor is switched on after selecting an investigation in the measurement

program, indicated by a green-colored LED.
