Position markers
(immediate markers)
During the
investigation, the patient’s position (supine, sit, or stand) can be
indicated by setting a position marker. Position markers can be placed by
clicking the buttons on the screen.
Audio comment marker
(immediate marker)
When a sound card is present, you can add a spoken comment to the
investigation. This is done by adding an audio comment marker. After the
marker is placed, a bar appears that indicates the recording time, during which
time, you can talk into the microphone. During analysis, you can replay the
spoken comments.
Audio recording can be started by clicking the
Audio
comment
button on the
screen.

Pause mode
During an investigation, you can activate the pause mode by clicking
the
Pause
button on the screen. This mode can be used when the patient is
repositioned. In the pause mode, the screen continues to scroll. Data that has
passed the marker line is not recorded and is therefore excluded from the
calculations. To deactivate pause mode, click the
Continue
button or click the
Pause
button again.
NOTE
The pause mode does not stop the pump or puller.

Change filling liquid
During an investigation, you can remove the empty bag of saline from the
Solar Blue module and replace it with a full bag, as follows:

In the measurement software program, click the
Pause
button.

Click the
Change liquid
button to display the
Change liquid
window.
▪
Remove the empty bag and install a new bag.
▪
Click the
Continue
button to return to the measurement program.
▪
Click the
Continue
button to proceed with the investigation.
