2: Before You Install
Before you install your Extraction Freeze Dryer, the site should be planned for
installation. Examine the location where you intend to install it. You must be certain that
the area is level and of solid construction. In addition, a dedicated source of electrical
power must be located near the installation site of the Extraction Freeze Dryer.

A dedicated outlet with an appropriate circuit breaker should be located as close as
possible to the product. Consult your local electrical codes for properly rated circuit
breakers. For safe operation the dedicated outlet must provide a protective earthing
ground connection to the product.
Do not use any detachable power cord that is not adequately rated for the
unit.
Frequency must agree with the serial tag rating. Improper frequency will
damage the compressor.
Additional appliances on the same circuit may cause the current to exceed
the rating of the circuit breaker or fuse.
