Emitting Diode (LED)
Clear/White
– Modem is initializing/running Built-in-Test
(BIT).
Green
– No active faults, ready for operation.
Red
– Active fault is present.
3
N/A
Power Supply Status LED
Green
– No active faults encountered during power on BIT.
Red
– Indicates a problem with the unit power supply or
internal power distribution.
4
N/A
TRANSEC Status LED
Green
– No TRANSEC errors; key and pass phrase
loaded.
Red
– At least one (1) TRANSEC fault found.
5
J12
RX Monitor Output SMA
Port
Receive signal monitor port.
6
J13
TX Monitor Output SMA
Port
Transmit signal monitor port.
7
J1
Data Ethernet Interface
Provides the Ethernet IP user data traffic interface for the
Modem in NCW mode.
8
J2
CDU Ethernet Interface
Provides Ethernet IP CMA traffic Control interface for the
Modem
9
J3
Baseband Voice Port
Supports bi-directional transfer of digitized voice data
between the Modem and external security equipment when
operating in NCW with SVOW mode.
10
J4
Modem Control Port
A bi-directional, asynchronous interface that may be used
to control the Modem in the SCPC mode.
11
J5
Baseband Data Port
Provides bi-directional data transfer between the Modem
and external Baseband equipment when operation in the
SCPC mode.
12
J6
Terminal Devices
Supports asynchronous exchange of control and status
information between the Modem and external Terminal
equipment. The Frame Strobe signal on this connector is
utilized by the Modem in stacking operations. This
connector also provides an interface for connecting to an
external GPS device.
13
J7
TX IF
Output intermediate frequency signal is provided at this
Threaded Neill-Concelman (TNC) connector.
14
J8
RX IF
Accepts receive intermediate frequency from antenna
down converter at this TNC connector.
15
J9
10 MHz Ref Output
Provides a 10MHz MIL-STD-188-115 reference output
signal on this connector. The output signal is synchronized
with the Modem‟s internal reference oscillator or with the
external reference signal on connector J10 when available.
16
J10
5/10MHz Ref Input
Accepts a 5MHz or 10MHz external reference signal on
this connector.
17
J14
48V DC Interface
Accepts up to 48V direct current (DC) input to be
multiplexed onto the primary TX IF Interface for antenna
power.
18
J11
AC Input
Operates with voltage from 90 - 132 VAC (110 VAC
nominal) and 180 --- 264 VAC (220 VAC nominal) and
frequencies from 47Hz to 63Hz.
19
