Description
Modem
Node Name
Node name for this Satellite Terminal in the network. The name must be
unique and consist of less than 13 alphanumeric characters.
Transmit Chain Gain Factor
Transmit gain of the Terminal from the Modem
‟s TX IF output through the
antenna.
Receiver Sensitivity (G/T)
Terminal Antenna Gain versus System Noise Temperature.
Max Terminal EIRP
Maximum Effective Isotropic Radiated Power (EIRP) from the antenna.
Min Terminal EIRP
Minimal EIRP from the antenna.
Contact EIRP
Initial EIRP used when entering the network:
For a net controller this is the initial power used for the Reference FOW
burst.
For a net member this is the initial power to use on a contention login
(CROW) Orderwire burst.
Data IP Address
IP Address of the Modem data port (J1). Use the configure/Modem Ports
dialog to change this address.
RFOW Spread Factor
DSSS spread factor to be used for the Reference FOW.
RFOW B/W Segment
Select the B/W Segment ID number corresponds to the downlink RFOW
B/W Segment.
Contour Offsets
EIRP Contour Offset
Offset to the terminal EIRP due to uplink beam contour.
G/T Contour Offset
Offset to the terminal G/T due to downlink beam contour.
SFD Contour Offset
Offset to the terminal SFD due to beam contour.
Secure Voice Channel (Only visible when SVOW is active)
Downlink Frequency (not
shown)
RF Receive Frequency in kHz and Modem IF Frequency in Hz. (Display
only).
Uplink Frequency (not shown)
RF Transmit Frequency in kHz and Modem IF Frequency in Hz. (Display
only).
Transmit Power (not shown)
Modem IF transmit power level in dBm.
Enable (not shown)
Selects whether or not the SVOW function is enabled.
Terminal Type
Network Controller Capable
Select if the Terminal can operate as a Network Controller.
Net Member Only
Select if the Terminal will operate only as a Network Member.
