Operating Procedures

COPY FROM MARKER is performed by setting the download mode to Copy From Marker
and selecting which memory marker to download from.  Highlight the marker number field
and press the Select Button to cycle through the available memory markers.  Selecting
Start Copy will begin the download.

CANCELLING the download process is performed by pressing the Menu Button twice in
rapid succession.

VIEWING RECORDER STATUS

This procedure may be performed while the PI is in CVR, CVDR, or FDR modes.

SELECT the Status/Control Menu from the Main Menu.

RETURN to the Main Menu by pressing the Menu button on the PI keypad.

VIEWING RECORDER VERSION INFORMATION

This procedure may be performed while the PI is in CVR, CVDR, or FDR modes.

SELECT the Special Functions Menu from the Main Menu.

SELECT the Version ID Menu from the Special Functions Menu.

RETURN to the Main Menu by pressing the Menu button on the PI keypad.

CLEARING / SETTING RECORDER FAULT CODES

This procedure may be performed while the PI is in CVR, CVDR, or FDR modes.

SELECT the Special Functions Menu from the Main Menu.

SELECT the Set/Clear Test Conditions Menu from the Special Functions Menu.

CLEAR LATCHED FAULT by selecting the Clear Latched Fault Menu option.

CLEAR FAULT LOG by selecting the Clear Fault Log Menu option.

SET RECORDER FAULT STATE by selecting the CVR Fault GSE ON, OFF, or RELEASE
Menu options.

8.16

DELETING FILES FROM DATA DISK

This procedure may be performed while the PI is in any mode and has a data disk present.

SELECT the Special Functions Menu from the Main Menu.

SELECT the Delete File From Disk Menu from the Special Functions Menu.

BROWSE the files on the data disk using the Up and Down buttons on the PI keypad.

SELECT the Delete option using the Left and Right buttons on the PI keypad.

CONFIRM the deletion by selecting Yes when the confirmation “ARE YOU SURE?” Menu
appears on the PI screen.
