Operating Procedures

PLAY mode may be obtained by pressing the Up arrow, which is remapped to function as
would a play button on a tape recorder.

REWIND mode may be obtained by pressing the Left arrow, which is remapped to function
as would a rewind button on a tape recorder.  Rewind mode will step the recording back in
ten second increments.

FAST REWIND mode may be obtained by pressing the Left arrow a second time after
standard Rewind mode has been activated.  Fast Rewind mode will step the recording
back in two minute increments.

FAST FORWARD mode may be obtained by pressing the Right arrow, which is remapped
to function as would a fast forward button on a tape recorder.  Fast Forward mode will step
the recording forward in ten second increments.

ENHANCED FAST FORWARD mode may be obtained by pressing the Right arrow a sec-
ond time after standard Fast Forward mode has been activated.  Enhanced Fast Forward
mode will step the recording forward in two minute increments.

END OF FILE / START OF FILE mode may be obtained by pressing the Down arrow,
which has no tape recorder equivalent.  This button will alternately move to the End of the
recording or the Start of it, depending on the current position in the recording.

STOP mode may be obtained by pressing the Select button, which is remapped to function
as would a stop button on a tape recorder.  Stop mode will stop any current playback activ-
ity such as playing, rewinding, or fast forwarding.

FILE PLAYBACK OPERATION

This procedure may be performed while the PI is in any mode.

SELECT the Playback Menu from the Main Menu.

PRESS the red (Delete) button on the PI keypad.

NAVIGATE to the File option using the navigation keys on the PI keypad.

SELECT the File option to bring up the CVR File Control Menu.

BROWSE the files on the memory card using the Up and Down buttons on the PI keypad.

PLAY a selected data file by using the Left and Right buttons on the PI keypad and select-
ing the Play option.

DOWNLOAD CVR DATA FROM RECORDER

This procedure may be performed while the PI is in CVR or CVDR modes.

SELECT the Playback Menu from the Main Menu.

PRESS the red (Delete) button on the PI keypad.

NAVIGATE to the File option using the navigation keys on the PI keypad.
