MAIN MENU
The PI illustrated in Figure 3
2 illustrates the CVR menu structure. When the
P1 starts up connected to a FA2100CVR recorder, the PI menu will show the following options:

From the Main Menu the operator can move the highlight (cursor) among the options listed
above by using the up and down arrow keys. When the highlight is positioned over a particular
entry, that entry can be selected by pressing the SELECT key. When a particular entry is se-
lected, a new menu appears. The up and down arrow keys have an additional function in the
context of the Main Menu. The operator can use them to adjust menu contrast as follows:
1. To increase the contrast (darken the screen), position the highlight over top entry on the
menu and press the up arrow key.
2. To decrease the contrast (brighten the screen), position the highlight over the bottom entry
and press the down arrow key.
The contrast adjustment occurs in small increments, so the operator may have to press the
appropriate key several times to obtain the desired adjustment.
