Bluetooth
Bluetooth is a short-range communications technology that allows you to connect wirelessly to a
number of Bluetooth devices, such as headsets and hands-free car kits, and Bluetooth-enabled
handhelds, computers, printers, and wireless phones. The Bluetooth communication range is
usually approximately 30 feet.
Turn Bluetooth On or Off
Use the settings menu to enable or disable your phone’s Bluetooth capabilities.
From the Home screen, press

Press the Left soft key
[Turn On]
to turn on Bluetooth. Press the Left soft key

[Turn Off]
to turn off Bluetooth.
Note:
Turn off Bluetooth when not in use to conserve battery power, or in places where using
a wireless phone is prohibited, such as aboard an aircraft and in hospitals.
Bluetooth Settings Menu
The Bluetooth settings menu gives you access to information and controls for your phone’s
Bluetooth feature.
From the Home screen, press

[Options]
and select from following options:

My Phone Name
to display your phone’s Bluetooth name.
Discovery Mode
to set your Bluetooth visibility. Select
On
for other devices to see
your device, or
Off
for no visibility.
Supported Profiles
to display a list of supported Bluetooth profiles.
Auto Pair Handsfree
to turn automatic pairing of Bluetooth devices on or off.
Pair Bluetooth Devices
The Bluetooth pairing process allows you to establish trusted connections between your phone
and another Bluetooth device. When devices are paired, a passkey (PIN) is shared between
devices, allowing for fast, secure connections while bypassing the discovery and authentication
process.
From the Home screen, press
