Use your phone to stay ahead of the game with calendar, alarm, sound recorder, and more.
Calendar
Use Calendar to create and manage events, meetings, and appointments. Your Calendar helps organize
your time and reminds you of important events.
Add an Event to the Calendar
Add events to your calendar directly from the Calendar.
1. From home, press
>
Calendar
.
The Calendar opens.
2. On any Calendar view, press
New event
(left softkey) >
Event
.
3. Enter the event name.
4. Enter the event location.
5. Specify the date and time of the event:
If there is a time frame for the event, select the
FROM
and
TO
dates and times to set them.
If the event is a special occasion such as a birthday or an all-day event, set the
FROM
and
TO
dates, and then select the
ALL DAY
check box.
To change the time zone, select the time zone field and select an option from the displayed
list or type a country name.
6. Add the event descriptions.
7. If you have multiple calendars, select a calendar to add the event to.
Note
: If you have synchronized your phone with an Exchange ActiveSync account or Outlook on your
computer, you can also select these calendars.
8. Select a color for the event (not available for Exchange ActiveSync accounts).
9. If the event occurs on a regular basis, select the
REPETITION
field and set the frequency.
10. Set the event reminder time.
To change the reminder time, select the
REMINDERS
field, select
Change period
, and
choose from the options.
To delete a reminder time, select the
REMINDERS
field, select
Delete
.
