Calendar
Use Calendar to create and manage events, meetings, appointments, and tasks.
Add an Event
Add events to your calendar directly from the Calendar application.

From the Home screen, tap

Calendar
.
Tap
on the top left of the screen to display the option menu.

On any Calendar view, tap

Event
.
3.
Set event details as necessary, such as the title, date and time, its recurrence, and
more.
4.
Tap
Save
to save the event in the calendar.
Add a Task

From the Home screen, tap

Task

Set task details as necessary, such as the title, due date and time, and its recurrence.

Save
to save the task in the calendar.
Calendar Event Alerts
When your phone is turned on and you have an event alarm scheduled, your phone alerts you
and displays the event summary. There are several ways your phone alerts you to scheduled
events:

By playing the assigned ringtone or vibration type.
●
By showing
on the status bar.
●
By showing the Pop-up notification screen.
Event Reminders
If you have set notifications for your event, the upcoming event icon
will appear in the
notifications area of the status bar to remind you of the upcoming event.
To view the reminder:
1.
Slide the status bar down to open the Notifications panel.
