Encryption & credentials
You can encrypt the data in the SD card installed in your phone, view or change the credentials.
For encryption, you need to enter the PIN or password for the screen lock for the operation. To
set up a PIN or password, see
WARNING:
Do not use the phone or remove the SD card during the encryption and decryption
processes as some or all of your data will be lost.
Trust agents
Manages trust agents for features like Smart Lock.
App pinning
Turn on to keep your current app in view on your phone.
Covert mode
This feature makes your phone effectively unnoticeable even in a silent and dark environment
by shutting down completely all visible and audible alerts and notifications.
NOTE:
The sound and LEDs from Bluetooth devices connected to the phone may not be
disabled even when Covert mode is on.
Accounts
Add and manage all your email, social networking, and picture and video sharing accounts.
Set Up a New Account
1.
From the Apps launcher, tap
Settings
>
Accounts
>
Add account
.
2.
Tap an account type such as
, etc.
3.
Follow the onscreen instructions to set up an account.
Depending on the account type, you may need to enter an email address or user
address, password, domain name, or other information. For Corporate accounts,
contact your server administrator to determine what information you will need.
Manage Existing Accounts
1.
From the Apps launcher, tap
Settings
>
Accounts
.
2.
Tap the existing accounts shown as Accounts for My Info.
NOTE:
Available settings menus may vary according to the account type.
Tap
Account
sync
to turn auto-sync on or off for each app in the list.
Tap
REMOVE ACCOUNT
to delete the account from your phone.
