4 Installation
4.1 Install KyWay outdoor units (ODUs)
Install each KyWay ODU according to
700-00019-000 KyWay Terminal Installation Guide
. If you are using the adapter
kit, before mounting each KyWay ODU, swap the voltage-switched LNB provided with the KyWay terminal with the
tone-switched and externally-referenced LNB NJR2842EN. Refer to
700-00032-000 KyWay Terminal User Manual
for
instructions on how to replace the LNB.
4.2 Label ODU components
To reduce the possibility of crossing cables, Kymeta recommends that you label all components of each KyWay ODU.
This recommendation includes labeling the ODU, IDU, and cabling from the ASM to its corresponding mTenna I/O.
The following table is a list of cables that you will need to label at both ends. Refer to the cabling diagram in
for a drawing of the cables described in the table below.
