3 Before you start
3.1 Prerequisites
3.1.1 Installation tools required for installation
Before you start, ensure you have all installation tools required for the mTenna Plus and mTenna Select system assembly.

Tool description
4 mm hex drive
Laptop for administration with two Ethernet ports and an SCP (secure
copy) client, SSH (secure shell) client, and mTenna Plus SSH key.
3.1.2 Files required for installation
Ensure you have the following files from Kymeta:

700-00045-000 mTenna Plus and mTenna Select User Guide
(PDF)
mTenna Plus SSH key - use for command-line administrator access to the mTenna Plus
cable_checker.py
– use to verify system cable installation
tx_cal.py
– use to set attenuation for each KyWay ODU’s BUC
