SICOM6000 User’s Manual

Full Duplex

Use switches to set up the point to point connection among nodes in
the LAN and allow them to receive and send data packet at the same
time.

Half Duplex

The communication for two nodes can only move toward one
direction at the same time, but cannot move toward both directions.

MDI

It is the Medium Dependent Interface, in which, one Ethernet port is
taken as the receiving terminal to connect to the port of other
equipment.

MDI‐X
