The 4

th

 step is a small fast analyzer, limited to the certain transponder. The measured envelope of level should as match 

as possible the scheme of the transponder, which is also indicated by the color of the bar diagram below (it’s not 
always possible to became green). Because there are some similar transponders it is necessary to identify it by locking 
in, this is next step for. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

At step 5 it is tried to lock in using parameters from the chosen list. If this succeeded, the satellite could be identified by 
the received information. Is it the correct satellite a green tick mark is shown. If another satellite was found, the diffe-
rence of the angel is used to show where to move the dish. By using the arrow key -> you get back to the assistance 
mode menu. 

If not succeed, use other functions of the measuring receiver like SAT SCAN, Analyzer etc. 

9.2 Check SAT-Signal at socket 

This function checks if there is a SAT-signal at the socket, from what satellite this is and if the levels fit recommenda-
tions. This function is also started from the assistance mode menu.
