Vibrations and unu-
sual noises
If unusual noises or vibrations occur during work, the machine must
be stopped immediately and the causes eliminated.
Observe the safety instructions on the previous pages or, if relevant,
contact an authorised dealer.
Turning
The machine is lifted before the turning procedure.
Throttle the tractor engine speed just before reaching the field
edge and raise the machine while still driving
Switch off the tractor's PTO stub shaft
After the turn, lower the machine to the work position again approx-
imately 1 m ahead of where you want to begin work
Switch on the tractor's PTO
Hydrolift [+]
Using the Hydrolift, the lifting height of the attached seeding machine
can be increased in order to create more free space above the ground
and bring the centre of gravity of the seeding machine closer to the
tractor.
The Hydrolift can be used in the following cases
•
When manoeuvring the machine on the headland
•
When preparing the field using only the power harrow
•
When travelling on the road
Throttle the tractor engine speed just before reaching the field
edge
Lift the Hydrolift via the tractor's control valve
Lift the power harrow while travelling
Switch off the tractor's PTO stub shaft
After the turn, lower the power harrow to the work position again
approximately 1 m ahead of where you want to begin work
Lower the Hydrolift via the tractor's control valve
Switch on the tractor's PTO
End of work
After completing the work, switch off the power harrow as follows:
Reduce the speed of the tractor motor
Lift the machine until all tools are lifted evenly off the ground
Switch off the tractor's PTO stub shaft
Deactivate the PTO before lifting the machine
Before lifting the machine, always switch off the tractor's PTO.
The PTO shaft could otherwise be seriously damaged.
