Lift limiter [+]
The lift limiter can be used to lift the seeding machine to a preselected
height using the Hydrolift, in order to prevent collisions between
components of the seeding machine and the power harrow. This is
advisable in some application situations, such as when turning on the
headland or for PTO-driven seeding machines.
The height of the lift is determined by the length of the chain. The
shorter the chain, the less the seeding machine can be lifted.
Set the desired lifting height by hanging the corresponding chain
link in the snap hook
To reach transport position, the lift limiter must first be deactivated.
Remove the PTO shaft from the PTO-driven seeding machine, as
required
Decouple the chain at the snap hook
Lift the Hydrolift fully, until the locking mechanism is activated
Using the lift limiter with PTO-driven seeding machines
In the event of excessive lift with the Hydrolift, the PTO shaft would
move out of its prescribed operating position and would be dam-
aged
Failure to observe these instructions may result in severe or fatal
accidents.
