Adjusting the roller
Depending on the roller fitted, this firms, compresses or crumbs the
strip worked.
Lift the machine up.
Stabilise the machine.
Remove the safety pin (A) on the pins (B).
Lift and turn the crank handle to the desired position, using scale
(C) to help

Raising the item reduces the pressure on the ground.
•
Lowering the item increases the pressure on the ground.
Put the spindle (D) back in place in one of the two pins.
Replace safety pin (A).
Repeat the operation for each row.
Changing rollers
Remove safety pin (A).
Remove pin (B) which acts as a pivot for the roller.
Remove the roller.
Fit the new roller
Replace pin (B).
Replace safety pin (A).
Repeat the operation for each row.
Non-stop release
safety system.
For optimum use of the machine, the pressure indicated by the
barometer must be 100 bars (+/- 5 bars).
Check regularly before and while using the machine that the
pressure conforms.
If the pressure indicated by the pressure gauge does not conform:
Raise the machine.
Move the tractor’s distributor to set the value to the recommended
value.
