Belt tensioning using digital frequency meter
- Be aware that the transmission is completely
stopped.
- Hold the tip of the frequency meter near the
inner side of the belt, and try to keep it firm and
still to avoid fake readings due to hand
movement.
- Hit the belt to make it vibrate
- Read drive belt frequency on the display
- Repeat the previous steps for each belt.
