Diagnostics
The Stage Piano has extensive diagnostic software built-in that can be used to test for
proper operation of almost every component. Although this chapter is intended
primarily for service personnel, the diagnostic software can also be helpful for
identifying problems with cables and external controls.
Starting Diagnostics
1. Turn the power switch off.
2. Press and hold the two buttons marked
Panic
on the front panel.
3. Turn the power switch on while continuing to hold the buttons.
4. Wait until all of the LEDs ßash the second time then release the buttons.
After the second ßash, the controller software version will be displayed brießy then
the main Diagnostic Menu will become active with

showing on the display.
Main Diagnostic Menu
Each diagnostic group and individual diagnostics in each group have a 3-character
name. The diagnostics are controlled using just two buttons:
Col Select
and
Row
Select
. In general,
Row Select
will advance to the next entry in the current menu and
Col Select
will select the group or execute an individual diagnostic.
