Advanced Setup
Option 18 — Setting Up Data Logging
The
data
log
outputs
the
flow
meter’s
current
reading
at
a
given
interval
to
a
terminal
emulator
connected
to
the
flow
meter
USB
port
for
data
collection.
This
information
includes
runtime,
tag
name,
current
flow
rate,
total
flow,
and
temperature.
Note
Data
logging
is
separate
from
the
flow
meter’s
trend
log.
To
access
the
Data
Logging
menu
in
Program
mode:
1>
Press
P
.
2>
Enter
the
Advanced
access
code,
and
then
press
E
.
3>
Press
2
to
invoke
the
Quick
Jump
option.
4>
Press
18
for
the
Data
Logging
Selection
menu,
and
then
press
E
.
ENABLE DATA LOG
>OFF ^v
The
prompt
for
enabling
data
logging
appears.
5>
Press
the
arrow
keys
to
select
ON
or
OFF
,
and
then
press
E
.
LOG INTERVAL SEC
>300
The
prompt
for
setting
the
log
interval
appears.
You
can
enter
up
to
32,765
seconds
(a
little
more
than
9
hours).
However,
it
is
important
to
use
a
value
that
provides
a
real
indicator
of
flow
activity.
