If you are logged in the user administration as [Power user], the [Top camera], [Bot-
tom camera] and [Pixel to step] are not visible.
If you are logged in as [Standard user], also the [Save target position] button is not
visible. With regard to this point, please read the chapter [Creating a user [
89]].
Menu area [Reference positions]:
You can bring the heating head exactly to the position of the laser or of the camera.
To do so, with the arrow buttons and the key combination [Ctrl] + [Arrow key],
move the laser or the camera exactly to the centre of the component. Then, the
following functions are available:
DANGER
Laser beam! Risk of injury due to retinal burns
a) Do not stare into the laser beam!
b) Do not point the laser beam at other people! Reflecting surfaces under the laser
generate reflections!
c) Class 2 laser according to DIN EN 60825-1:2008-5, P < 1 mW, λ = 650 nm
[Heating head to laser]: Moves the heating head to the position of the laser.
Switching on the laser with the button . Keep the travel path of the axles clear!
– [Heating head to camera]: Moves the heating head to the position of the cur-
rent camera image. Keep the travel path of the axles clear!
Menu area [Target position]:
The last position reached within a process is always saved. The following functions
are available:
– [Move to ]: The upper camera moves to the target position which was last
saved. Keep the travel path of the axles clear!
– [Save]: The current position is saved as global target position.
– [Save in profile]: The current position is saved in the profile in use.
Menu area [Calibrations]:
In this menu you can calibrate axles, cameras and lighting. The following functions
are available:
– [Reference run]: Performs a reference movement of the [X/Y/Z] axles. After
axle locking and step loss of the conveyor motors, calibration must be per-
formed via a reference run. Keep the travel path of the axles and the pick-up
area clear!
– [Reference cameras]: Moves the upper camera to the glass plate and refer-
ences the upper and lower cameras. Keep the travel path of the axles clear!
The fiducial marks (rows of dots on the glass plate) must not be covered. After
referencing, the fiducials are to be shown in green in window [Current image].
If this is not the case, it may have the following causes:
