Fault handling
7.1
General faults
If the device does not operate as expected, please check the following points:
• Is the mains voltage available?
• Is the power supply cable properly connected to the device and wall socket?

Is emergency stop button

pressed? Unlock the red knob by turning it.

Is the fuse defective? Fuse

is located above the mains connection socket.

Please be absolutely aware that a defective fuse may also indicate a deeper cause of
fault. Simply changing the fuse, therefore, does not generally suffice.
7.2
Signalled faults
If fault indicator

[Fault] lights up, the following faults may have occurred:
•
Overheating of the top heater. Let the device cool down until the fault indication
disappears.
•
Failure or excessively low speed of the fan. If after cooling the fault indicator is per
-
manently lit, the fan needs replacing by a qualified technician or the manufacturer.

Using an original replacement fan is mandatory!
