This chapter explains how to install the QuickGene-810.
1.1 Installation and Use Conditions
This section explains the installation conditions and operating environment of the QuickGene-810.
■
Installation conditions
For correct and safe use of QuickGene-810, install it in a location that meets the following conditions:
• The space shown in the following figure must be allocated.
• A location where power can be provided. Use an AC100±10% to AC240V±10%, 50Hz or
60Hz outlet.
• A location where the temperature is 15 to 30°C, and humidity is 30 to 80%RH (non
condensing).
• A location that will support the weight of QuickGene-810 (21kg), that is flat and stable, with no
vibration.
WARNING:
•
Do not hold front cover of QuickGene-810 for transportation.
•
Do not install the QuickGene-810 to a location where it can be
splashed with water. It may cause a device failure, fire, or electric
shock.
•
When relocating the QuickGene-810, disconnect the plug from the
outlet first. If the power cable is damaged, this may cause a device
failure, fire, injury, or electric shock.
CAUTION:
•
Do not install the QuickGene-810 in an unstable place such as a
slanted surface or a place subject to vibrations. It may cause injury or
device failure.
•
Do not install the QuickGene-810 in direct sunlight or close to a
heating device. It may shorten the life of QuickGene-810, or cause a
trouble.
•
Two or more people are necessary to carry the QuickGene-810.
Otherwise, you may hurt your back or hands because of the weight of
QuickGene-810 (more than 20kg).
