3. Machine use

- Place the machine in working position.

Before the machine engages the crop:

- Engage the tractor PTO drive and accelerate

progressively up to the desired PTO speed.

Groundspeed

Groundspeed must be adapted to the encountered

working conditions.

Before engaging the tractor PTO drive:

Keep all persons and animals away from the
machine danger zone.

The PTO speed is generally comprised
between 400 and 500 min

 and must not

exceed 540 min

-1

.

Determine groundspeed/engine speed ratio that
is best suited to the work conditions.

Reduce groundspeed in difficult working
conditions.
