11. - Maintenance and storage

11.5.2 At the start of each season

- Pressurize the hydraulic circuit. 
- Check the condition of the friction slip clutch (see

"Secondary pto shaft" chapter).

- Inspect and replace worn knives and bolts (See

chapter: Inspection of knives and securing
elements).

- Check that all nuts and bolts are sufficiently

tightened.

- Re-read the operators' manual.
- Inspect and replace worn or damaged fingers on

the conditioning rotor.

- Make sure all the guards are in place.
- Check tyre pressure.
- Wipe off grease on cylinder rods.
