Trouble shooting guide
The sensor (1) fixed to the bale
separator clutch cylinder sets the
conveyor in motion once the bale
separator is engaged.
The clutch cylinder rod must be fully
retracted to excite the circuit-breaking
sensor
The conveyor stops during
work
Hydraulic or electric problems
Check there are no leaks in the
hydraulic circuit.
Check that the beater bar is
completely engaged, and if you have
electrical controls, that the indicator
light is on
The beater bar and the
conveyor stop turning during
feeding
Hydraulic or electric problems
Check there are no leaks in the
hydraulic circuit.
If you have electric controls, check
that the indicator is on.
Check that the clutch is totally
engaged, and that the piston rod is
right in. Otherwise, check that the
clutch cylinder is not leaking
internally.
The conveyor drive belt slips
for no obvious reason Mechanical or maintenance
problem Check that it is in good working order
and tight enough.
The blower does not turn and
the friction clutch slips
The blower is blocked
Disengage the tractor PTO and switch
off the engine.
Check the blower for product build up.
If necessary, use the hook fixed inside
the casing on the left-hand side of the
machine to remove any product stuck
in the distribution chute or bale
separator, then use a lever to ensure
that the turbine can turn freely. After
releasing, operate the blower with no
load for a few seconds until it reaches
normal running speed.
