37 PERIODIC SERVICE
HOW TO TILT UP THE MACHINE
To avoid serious injury or death:
A
Park the machine on a firm and level surface.
A
Stop the engine, remove the key and engage
the parking brake.
A Be sure to chock the rear wheels.
A
Lock the raised front axle with an L-pin and
snap pin before working under the machine.
1. Lift up the mower fully.
2. Fully open the front mask and keep it open.
3. Move the L-pins from center to both sides hole of the
front axle to position the front wheels.
4. Unfold the handle and turn it clockwise to raise the
front axle to the stop.
5. Remove the L-pin of the raised wheel and insert it to
the outside hole of the frame with the snap pin.
C Return to the normal position.
Reverse to the above procedure.

To ensure equal oscillation of the axle and prevent
loss of parts, be sure the clevis pin returns to the
center position of the front axle arm slot.
And be sure to install removed parts.
