Draining the hydraulic oil

Place a container with a minimum capacity of 100 l under the
hydraulic oil drain plug.

Remove the drain plug (1) and drain the hydraulic oil.

Install the drain plug with a new sealing ring.
Filling the hydraulic oil
Filling quantity with oil change: approx. 40 l
Total hydraulic system capacity: 76 l

Remove the filler plug (1) from the hydraulic oil tank.

Insert a clean funnel with a strainer into the filler plug opening.

Open the engine compartment cover (page 154).

Press in the hexagonal plug (2) and the black plastic lock sec-
tion (3) of the air bleed hose for the hydraulic pump (4) as well.

Then hold the black plastic lock section and pull out the hexag-
onal plug.
The swivel frame must be turned 90° to the right for the
hydraulic oil drain to be accessed.
Before filling in a different brand of hydraulic oil, drain the hydraulic oil system completely.
