Handling the retaining device for differential lock
1. Pull the differential lock holder while the differential
lock pedal is depressed.
2. The differential lock is then maintained even if your
foot leaves the pedal.
3. The lock is released when the pedal is depressed
again.

When using the differential lock, always slow the
engine down.

To prevent damage to power train, do not engage
differential lock when one wheel is spinning and the
other is completely stopped.
A
If the differential lock cannot be released, stop the
vehicle, turn the steering wheel alternately.

Directions for Use of Power Steering
1. Power steering is activated only while the engine is
running. While the engine is stopped, the vehicle
functions in the same manner as vehicle without
power steering.
2. When the steering wheel is turned all the way to the
stop, the relief valve is activated. Do not hold the
steering wheel in this position for a long period of time.
3. Avoid turning the steering wheel while the vehicle is
stopped, or tires may wear out sooner.
4. The power steering mechanism makes the steering
easier. Be careful when driving at high speeds.

To avoid personal injury:

Be sure to check for hidden obstacles or
hazards before driving in a new area.
A
Keep your speed down until you know the area
well.
A
Use existing trails and stay away from
hazardous areas such as steep, rocky slopes
or swamps.
A
Be cautious when visibility is limited, as you
may not be able to see obstacles in your path.
