Precaution at overheating

Take  the  following  actions  in  the  event  the  coolant
temperature  is  close  to  or  more  than  the  boiling  point,
which is called 

“Overheating”

.

1. Stop  the  vehicle  operation  in  a  safe  place,  unload

the engine and remain at idle.

2. Don't  stop  the  engine  suddenly,  but  stop  it  after

about 5 minutes of unloaded idling.

3. Keep  yourself  well  away  from  the  vehicle  for  at

least 10 minutes or while the steam is blowing out.

4. Check  to  confirm  that  there  is  no  danger  from  the

overheat condition.

Details  about  the  cause  of  the  overheat  and  its
countermeasures  can  be  found  in  a  different
section.
(See TROUBLESHOOTING on page 85.)

and not damaged.
