Bevel Gear Shaft and Bevel Gear Case Oil Seal

1. Remove the external cir-clip (3).
2. Remove the bevel gear case (6) from the front gear case (7).
3. Remove the oil seal (9).
4. Remove the ball bearing (8).
5. Remove the internal cir-clip (5) and remove the ball bearing (4).
6. Remove the bevel gear shaft (2) with the bearing.

(When reassembling)

• Install the oil seal (9) of the bevel gear case, noting its direction

as shown in the figure.
